# The Brutalist - Parental Guide
This R-rated drama about an architect rebuilding his life in post-war America contains strong violence and language, moderate sexual content, and some disturbing imagery. The slow-paced, three-plus-hour runtime and mature themes make it unsuitable for children and most teens. Best suited for adult audiences interested in serious artistic dramas.
Synopsis
When an innovative modern architect flees post-war Europe, he is given the opportunity to rebuild his legacy. Set during the dawn of the modern United States (in Pennsylvania), his wife joins him, and their lives are forever changed by a demanding, wealthy patron.
