Star Trek features strong action violence including explosions and combat scenes that may be intense for younger children, though language and sexual content remain mild. The PG-13 rating suggests ages 13+, and the complex sci-fi plot works better for older children who can follow the story. Consider your child's sensitivity to action sequences before viewing.
